ARTHRITIS
Arthritis is not a single disease and is a term often used to mean any disorder that affects joints. Common arthritis joint symptoms include swelling, pain, and stiffness and decrease the range of motion. They can be mild, moderate or severe. Severe arthritis can result in chronic pain, inability to do daily activities and make it difficult to walk or climb stairs.
BACKACHE
Back pain is pain felt in the back. Episodes of back pain may be acute, sub-acute, or chronic depending on the duration. The pain may radiate into the arms and hands as well as the legs or feet, and may include paraesthesia (tingling with no apparent cause), weakness or numbness in the legs and arms.
MIGRAINE
A migraine is a severe, painful headache that can be preceded or accompanied by sensory warning signs such as flashes of light, blind spots, tingling in the arms and legs, nausea, vomiting, and increased sensitivity to light and sound. The excruciating pain that migraines bring can last for hours or even days.
SCIATICA
Sciatica refers to pain that radiates along the path of the sciatic nerve, which branches from your lower back through your hips and buttocks and down each leg. Typically, sciatica affects only one side of your body.
SLIP DISC
When a disc herniates or ruptures, it may create pressure against one or more of the spinal nerves which can cause pain, weakness or numbness in area of body served by those nerves. Other names for slipped (herniated) discs are prolapsed and ruptured discs.
SPONDYLOSIS
Spondylosis is a medical term used to describe the natural aging and gradual deterioration process of the spine. Spondylosis is usually caused by the development of arthritis in the spine, which causes the discs and vertebrae to gradually wear down over time.
GOUT
Gout is a form of inflammatory arthritiscaused by excess uric acid in the bloodstream. The symptoms of Gout are due to formation of uric acid crystals in joints and the body's response to them. Gout classically, it affects the joint in the big toe.Fortunately, gout is treatable and there are preventative measures that can be taken to reduce the risk of developing the painful condition.
